I recently purchased TTH and I am having trouble picking/designing a lineup to simulate low limit games.  In fact, when I run a simulation using the “low limit” lineup supplied, I get an average of only 2.2 players seeing the flop. Similar numbers with the “loose” lineup. Any suggestions? Also, I am wondering if anyone has programmed an advisor that follows Lee Jones’ guidelines in “Winning Low Limit Hold’em.”

You’re right- the pre-programmed LL line-up didn’t seem to work for me either. The line-up that best replicates the LLHE where I play (loose, passive) is line-up #7.  The pre-programmed “loose line-up” is more aggressive then I usually encounter – but it’s good practice for folding those ”marginal” hands. I usually flip between the two line-ups. The “Read Me” file details the traits of all the lineups that are
pre-programmed. Between that and my comments you should be able to get what you need.

When you begin the game. Pick “raise less”. It will slow down pre-flop raises and bring more callers in before the flop.

I played around until I tried using four to six Welcome Waldos, a couple of GAJoes, and then fill out the table with a stronger profile or two. This plays very similarly to the 3-6 and 6-12 games I play in — about 5 to 6 players seeing the flop, mostly passive, but some (usually misplaced) aggression. I’ve got a similar lineup for 9-18, but I use one or two additional stronger profiles, and I set Raise Less and Check Raise less, because the initial aggression-for-the-sake-of-aggression we see in 3-6 and 6-12 is rarer in my 9-18 game. Again, it feels and plays like a pretty good match.
